Legal Research
Library Spotlight
Coming soon, we’ll be expanding our Ask a Librarian service with a convenient text messaging option. This feature will make it even easier to get answers to your legal research questions. Simply text us any time, and a librarian will respond during business hours.
Text a Librarian will complement our existing services. You’ll still be able to reach us by phone, e-mail, or in person, depending on what works best for you. Once the service launches, our Ask a Librarian page will have instructions on how to submit your questions by text. Our service is free to use, but messaging and data charges from your mobile carrier may apply.
Great news! Our library has been awarded a generous grant from the Texas Bar Foundation to develop the Texas Legal Oasis Project.
The project will create a free online training course for public librarians, giving them the tools and confidence to help community members find reliable legal information.
